Tiens Fick is the driving force behind Safa-Safari, bringing deep field expertise, hands-on guiding experience, and a genuine passion for Africa’s wild spaces. As Owner and Lead Guide, he oversees the planning and execution of safaris, fishing trips, and overlanding adventures, ensuring every experience meets the highest safety and quality standards. With extensive knowledge of wildlife behaviour, terrain, and outdoor logistics, Tiens is known for creating authentic, well-managed journeys that balance adventure with guest comfort. His leadership in the field ensures guests feel confident, informed, and fully immersed in the Safa-Safari experience.
Mariette De Sousa
Mariette provides the financial backbone and executive support that keeps Safa-Safari operating with precision and accountability. As Bookkeeper and Assistant to the Owner and Operations team, she oversees financial records, reconciliations, and administrative support functions. Her structured, detail-driven approach ensures accurate reporting, smooth financial workflows, and reliable business support. Mariette also assists with operational coordination, helping bridge the gap between finance, administration, and field execution.
