Day 01 :

Day 1 — Mossel Bay Arrival & Safari Preparation

Arrive in Mossel Bay. Vehicle handover and briefing for your fully equipped 4×4 overlanding vehicle. Final provisioning and trip preparation. Overnight Mossel Bay.

Day 02 :

Day 2 — Mossel Bay → Wilderness → Knysna (Garden Route)

Scenic coastal drive along the Garden Route. Stop in Wilderness and continue to Knysna for lagoon views and forest landscapes. Overnight Knysna.

Day 03 :

Day 3 — Knysna → Plettenberg Bay → Tsitsikamma

Explore Plettenberg Bay before entering the Tsitsikamma region. Optional hiking and coastal viewpoints. Overnight Tsitsikamma area.

Day 04 :

Day 4 — Tsitsikamma → Addo Area

Travel into the Eastern Cape toward the Addo region. Optional afternoon game viewing or relax at camp. Overnight near Addo.

Day 05 :

Day 5 — Addo → Deep Sea Fishing Experience

Head to the coast for a guided deep sea or offshore fishing experience. Target species may include tuna, yellowtail, or reef fish depending on season. Overnight coastal lodge or camp.

Day 06 :

Day 6 — Coastal Region → Eastern Cape Hunting Concession

Drive inland to a licensed private hunting reserve. Safari briefing with Professional Hunter and camp orientation. Overnight hunting lodge or bush camp.

Day 07 :

Day 7 — Hunting Safari

Full day guided plains game hunting with Professional Hunter, trackers, and skinners. Field preparation of trophies. Overnight hunting camp.

Day 08 :

Day 8 — Hunting Safari / Bushveld Experience

Second hunting day focusing on different areas of the concession. Non-hunters may enjoy game viewing or relaxation at camp. Overnight hunting camp.

Day 09 :

Day 9 — Eastern Cape → Oudtshoorn / Karoo Route

Depart the hunting concession and travel through scenic Karoo landscapes toward Oudtshoorn. Explore the region if time allows. Overnight Oudtshoorn.

Day 10 :

Day 10 — Oudtshoorn → Mossel Bay

Final scenic drive through the Outeniqua Mountains back to Mossel Bay. Vehicle return and end of safari services.

2. Do I need prior off-road driving experience?

No prior experience is required, but basic 4×4 driving skills are recommended. Full route guidance and safety instructions are provided before departure

3. Is the safari guided?

This is a self-drive overlanding safari. While you drive independently, detailed itineraries, route maps, and local support are included to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey. Optional guided activities can be booked at certain locations.

4. What are the accommodation options?

Accommodation includes a mix of wild camping in permitted conservation/community areas and recommended lodges or guest farms along the route. Rooftop tents are provided for camping nights.

5. Are meals included?

Meals are included, allowing flexibility to dine at local restaurants, prepare your own food at campsites, or purchase supplies en route.

6. How much fuel and water should I carry?

We recommend carrying 40–60L of water per vehicle and refilling at camps or approved points. Fuel stops are planned along major towns and service stations along the route.
